ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department commenced in the year 2012 with strength of 7 students. During the academic year 2013- 2014 the student’s intake increased to 26 students. In the year 2014-15 students intake reached to 29 students. For the past two years the student’s strength is about 25 per year. During this academic year 2017-18 we have reached the maximum of university approved 30 students. The Department has the faculty strength of 5 Teaching staff and 2 non-teaching faculties. The Department’s future plan for an extension of 50 seats to accommodate more students. The department also plans for P.G. courses in the upcoming years.

To raise student’s aspirations and to provide career options to students through self-assessment and education. The Department ensures that all the passed out students are well placed in prominent media houses. Thus ensuring 100% placement.

Impart quality education to meet the needs of profession and society, and achieve excellence in teaching-learning and research. Attract and develop talented and committed human resource, and provide an environment conducive to innovation, creativity, team-spirit and entrepreneurial leadership.

Facilitate effective interactions among faculty and students, and foster networking with alumni, industries, institutions and promote high standards of professional ethics, transparency and accountability.
